Registration for the 2012 Travel Division is now being held.  Listed below is general information to register a team for 2012:

The following divisions have openings (open numbers in parentheses):

11/AAA (1)

11/AA (1)

13/AAA (2)

All other divisions are closed and we are not accepting any further registrations in those divisions.

Also, the only remaining openings at Maplewood for home games are weekends.  At the present time, there are no weeknights available.

Winter Meeting Schedule:

Tuesday, February 7                           

Tuesday, March 6

Managers will be given details upon registration.

Birthdate cutoff is May 1, 2012.

Registration fee is $235.

Two levels of play are offered in all divisions (AAA and AA).   Levels are defined as:

                AAA - Very competitive teams that play a heavy travel schedule and a heavy tournament schedule.  Roster is usually made up of players from several communities.

                AA - Teams that play a lighter schedule with very few tournaments.  Rosters are usually made up of players from one community.

There are no geographical restrictions in either level at any age.

Teams will play approximately a 20 game regular season followed by playoffs.

Season runs from mid-April through mid-July.

Financial Responsibilities:  Other than the registration fee, teams are responsible for purchasing their own equipment and uniforms.  Teams must purchase game balls through the league (apx.cost $35/dozen).  All teams are pre-ordered two dozen game balls.  Each team is also responsible for paying the umpire fee's each game (apx. cost $45/game).  League rules require two umpires for every game in all age divisions.  Both teams pay an umpire.

Field Availability:  Cleveland-based teams are permitted to play all their home games at Maplewood.  A Cleveland-based team is a team in which at least 66% of it's roster contains Cleveland residents.  Suburban teams are responsible for furnishing their own fields for home games.  However, in the event there are any open dates at Maplewood, suburban teams can book those dates.  Those dates will be VERY limited.

To register a team online, click on the "Online Registration" tab at the top of this page.  Coaches will have the option of paying by credit card or check by mail.  Online check payment is not available.
