PREMIER DIVISION REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2009 Premier Division (travel) season is now underway. We are registering teams in the following divisions:

                        10 & Under        11 & Under

                        12 & Under        13 & Under

                        14 & Under (60'/90')

  We also offer two levels of play per age division, AAA and AA. There are still openings in all divisions and levels. However, some divisions and levels are half-full, or more than half-full.  There will be a limit of 8 teams per level/per division.  All openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. No exceptions.  Registration fee is $250.

There are no residency requirements in either AAA or AA divisions.

Teams comprised of 66% Cleveland residents will be permitted to play all home games at Maplewood Diamonds.  Suburban teams will be required to furnish their own home fields.  Some limited dates and openings will be available at Maplewood for some home games at Maplewood.

* Registration fees do not include any sanctioning fees for national associations.  Teams that are interested in being nationally sanctioned must register with the organization of their choice individually.

The description on teams that would qualify for AAA or AA play is as follows:

AAA --- Very competitive travel teams that roster players from different communities and play a heavy schedule and a lot of tournaments.

AA --- Teams that are comprised mostly of players from one community, play a lighter schedule and very few tournaments. However, residency is not a factor for a team that is comprised of players from different communities that prefer to play in the AA division as long as they fulfill the schedule and tournament guidelines listed prior.
